Escape elevator are on research and development in SHANGHAI

“Never use the lift when a fire broke out in the high rise building, but take the stairs”, this is the golden rule that we have learned. However, many experts do their utmost to break this rule. They found it would be the efficiency and safety way to use the lift in the high rise building in fire in some cases. Therefore they have experimented for many years and aspire to produce the first “elevator escape system” in the world. The primary mould has come out last summer and the improvement mould was tested on 7th, April. The Police 3rd Research Institute expressed that using the escape lift in fire is feasible in theory, but still need more tests. The research achievements may transform into the actual product and be widespread use in the coming 5 years.
