Elevator crash in Brazil

An elevator crash happened on 2nd, May in Lporanga city, St. Paul Brazil. One car-holder elevator fall from the 10th floor (about 50 meters high) when it was been overhaul. It caused two worker’s death.
According to the local report, this is the only car-holder elevator in the city which is the ARTA brand. When the accident took place, two workers were changing the lift cable. One worker insider got death immediately, and another one on the ground floor was badly hurt and passed away after send to the hospital.
ARTA Schindler (Brazil) Elevator LTD. is one the subsidiary of Swiss Schindler Group, and it has the high market share in Brazil. After the accident, ARTA Company said they would pay the full compensation and investigate the cause of this accident.
