According to the General Administration of Quality Supervision’s information, Sichuan and other local special equipment safety supervision institutions all over the country had made great efforts for the reconstruction after the 5.12 Earthquake. Up to now, almost more than 90% special equipment can restart the service in the earthquake-striken area.
At present, there are 3716 sets new equipment were put into using; more than 82 stricken manufactories have restored the regular working; 20186 sets equipment from total 11284 sets stricken special equipment were restore the working after repairing and inspecting which get to a 96.5%.
